I don’t want to live in this country anymore…

I know people keep talking about politics everywhere, all the time since only a week left before the election. I try not to post about it but for this time, I can’t help it. I just heard the advertisement that people talked about on Twitter. Yup. It sucks! I mean there’s nothing wrong if you want to do your campaign anywhere through any medium. But now, for my opinion, bn really had crossed the line this time. I feel like I’m living in a country where only one party is the best among the rest and should rule the country because they had done that since forever. First, they bought all the media, such as Buletin Utama, Utusan (should I list all of them?) and now radio station too? It is ok if the advertisement just about a promotion on the party without insulting others. Like seriously, people heard them enough at 8 pm news every day! Oh, come on! Give me a break will ya? I have stop reading newspaper and watching news on tv. I don’t want to stop listening to the radio too.

If they really confident that people going to vote for them, why try too hard? Honestly, all these efforts make people hate them more. (That’s including me too, I guess). Why they need to show too much effort that makes them look desperate and wasting too much money on the advertisement that will get negative feedback? Seriously, I thought that they’re better than this. I love this country, I really do. Just please stop ruining every media in this country by buying them with people’s money.

**Inbefore, if you don't like the system, get out from this country!

instant coffee

I was thinking to write about me, politics and music in an entry. So, here we go, 3 in 1. There is a new song from Avril entitle ‘Here to never grow up’ and coincidentally Paramore also has a song about ‘Grow Up’ in their new album. Since I still have 3 years and half before grow into a woman, it made me wonder, Am I a girl now? I’m not at a crossroad to discover what I am even people kept telling me I’m less a woman.  Maybe they said that because the way I dress up, talk and I love football and video games instead of handbag and shoes. I don’t wear a dress, don’t know how to wear makeup, I don’t know what are the difference between shoes (all I know is sneakers, sandal, slippers, high heel and wedges) and colors. Is that made me less a woman? If a woman not shown their feminist side, is that will make her less woman? Anyway, I still can cook though and love baking. (Ops, some men do cook and baking too. LOL) Or maybe I’m in denying stage where I don’t want to grow up because I’m enjoying my life this way.

How is this related to politics? The question, of course. Same as less a woman, if you have something to say about how to change your country to a better nation or you support the other party because you think it is better than the other one, is that made you less patriotic about your country? Unfortunately, I have an answer for this question and the answer is big NO. In fact, it supposes to make us more patriotic because we care about our nation and we want the best for all of us and our country. There is a lot of improvement should be taken by government seriously if they really want to build a better nation, instead from what they wrote in their manifesto. I would say here, as a starting maybe by reducing their spending on the GE campaign. Like seriously, in this year and age, who the hell gives a damn about how many flags you wave in a state?

to BR1M or not to BR1M? that's a question.

I’m not here to campaign for any parties. As usual, I just write my point of view on my blog. If you have something to say, you can comment below. So, here we go after BN manifesto out yesterday night. First and foremost, of course, let’s talk about BR1M since a lot of people point this thing out. My first question will  be why they want to increase the value of BR1M? If this is about one of their objective 'memastikan pendapatan isi rumah rm5k' or because increasing of product price? When I started to learn about economics, I found that BR1M is a brilliant idea in replacement to cut taxes if the government plan to speed up the economy and also it gives beautiful statistic data to our GDP. In additional, it helps poor people as I can see that for myself. But then with the increasing value of BR1M, it is not helping people anymore. It makes people lazier and thinks that the government will help them eventually (especially for Malay race itself). Sorry, I don’t mean to be a racist bitch here especially on my own race but sadly that‘s the truth. Let me put this in a simple situation… Have you ever go to mamak stall or some restaurants around KL, penang, subang or city center where you can find a lot of beggars come to you every 5 minutes? At first, you might feel sorry for them but after they keep coming to you, you’ll not feel sorry anymore. Yup, that’s pretty similar situation.

This thing mark a bad image of our country. I don’t say that it is wrong if the government really want to help poor people. Just make sure that they’re really needed and not using BR1M as a tool to buy citizen’s votes (which means everyone can applied without investigate their background as long as they earning rm3k or below). So, my conclusion here is BR1M is a good idea as long as it's given to people that really needed like OKU, eldest people and people that can't work anymore on certain condition. Just to share some informations that I found in this bloghere ). Don’t take his point about job since that already include in manifesto. (http://news.abnxcess.com/2013/04/bn-manifesto-aim-to-create-3-3-million-jobs-and-rake-in-rm1-3tril-in-investments-in-next-five-years/)

Other than that, I also found this one brilliant status posted by a friend of mine on FB. Which mean BN can attract young people and ‘pengundi atas pagar’ votes if they not sounds too promising by giving too much and one of them is BR1M.

Nota kaki:
I still didn’t get it tho, people that keep saying we get our money back. Yes, you pay your taxes. Everyone does. But BR1M is given to people that earn rm3k below which mean that is only like a small percentage of taxes that you pay. FYI, people that earn more paid more taxes and they didn’t even entitled to apply for BR1M. Be more rational pls! (Unless you’re really rich and pay more taxes, then have a seat.)
