Yesterday, I got an email from my sv regarding conference
that I want to go. It was not a good news since apparently my school didn't
have any budget to pay for that unless I change my presentation from poster to
oral. I choose to do a poster presentation in the first place because I was scared
to do an oral presentation. My first oral presentation at colloquium in 2011 was
a nightmare. I was blur for the first 3 minutes and I was so embarrassed with
myself. But this is life, right? Sometimes we have to face our own fear and
sometimes we can't get everything that we want no matter how much money we have
or how rich we are. If we could get everything that we want, then this life
must be perfect. But the truth is there’s no such thing as perfect. No perfect
life, no perfect relationship, no perfect match. Even a perfect guy that is
charming, intelligent, smart, know how to play guitar, kind, religious, good
looking and loving is existing, he probably never be yours. So, in order to
avoid from frustration or disappointment, maybe the good thing is not to have
higher expectation and learn to accept everything that you have and you got
than thinking about not getting something that you want.

Can I have Combo C, please?
So, it’s been a while I’m not updating any entry in here.
Last 2 days, I watched this malay drama on tv9 which’s about a guy that only
has 90 days to live. If you are in his situation, what would you do? Just for the sake of sharing, here
are top 10 bucket list/ things to do before you die (yes, I Google it) and what are mine:
- Become a millionaire
- Travel the world
- See the northern lights
- Walk the great wall of China
- Completely pay off your mortgage
- Go on the Inca Trail in Peru
- See the 7 Wonders of the world
- Visit the pyramids in Egypt
- Invent something that changes lives
- Visit Antartica
From those 10, only travel the world is in my bucket list
(which is too mainstream, don’t you think?) Others, meh.. I’m not interested in
walking great wall or see the 7 wonders, even invent something that changes lives sound pretty interesting. I have these much list so far (I know. Some
of them are quite ridiculous)
- Breakfast at Tiffany
- Shoot a crazy video with my best friends/do a cover on youtube
- Do a bungee jumping
- Do Cosplay or attend a Halloween party
- Ride the scariest roller coaster in this planet
- Own a cupcake store
- Have my own band (since it is too late, then my own rock band complete set also can la)
- Smoke weed (I hope I’m not getting arrested for typing this)
- Do some cool stuff that I’ve seen in the movie or drama series
- Kiss a girl? LOL
That’s all I think, maybe. I will edit once I want to add
some more. So, now how about yours?

Top 20 ways to get smarter
- Play games involving words. E.g: crossword puzzle/scrabble (my favorite game ever!) /scramble, 4pics1word (any other apps also can)
- Play video games
- Read or watch news (don’t just watch tv3 news for God sake)
- Eat dark choc, berries and yogurt (Yummy!)
- Drink a lot of plain water and coffee (Thank God I’m coffee addicted)
- Sleep-a-lot (But please don’t sleep in your workplace)
- Take a look at the green plants sometimes or go out and do outdoor activities like jungle tracking instead of going to the mall every week.
- Turn off your Smartphone sometimes, logout fb/ twitter, don’t check your email for every half an hour. Enjoy real life.
- Read at least one book a week.
- Travel and go see other places!
- Learn another language
- Play an instrument ( I can’t play guitar L )
- Write using your hand instead typing using your keyboard or touch screen
- Listen to music
- Do exercise regularly/ yoga/ dancing/ taekwondo
- Write your thinking on blogs or Twitter (Twitter is always the best way to argue with others which have a more interesting theory compare to people on FB)
- Spend some times in the kitchen making your own meal or baking (I’m not sure if making instant noodle aka Maggi count)
- Visit art gallery (Devianart also can ha?)
- Build a ‘memory place’
- Follow some inspirational people on Twitter.

solid -> liquid
Change is good but sometimes it could be bad too. Hardest part in changing is to change something from bad to good. I know because I am now struggling to change
myself to be a better person. I had changed before but sadly it didn’t last for
a long time. Some people we wish they can change and some people we wish they
don’t. Before I changed my location from KL to Penang the
other day, I watched someone that I used to know change to someone that I
didn’t know anymore. Well, that’s a typical line used in a novel to describe a
bad change. Either we like or not, we have to accept the fact that a person can
change without any reason and it can be anytime until we realize it. Even it
will change our relationship or feelings to that person and it hurts to see
her/him changing to someone that we didn’t want to, but nothing we can do to
stop someone from changing. That’s a sad thing about life. Sometimes we can
only sit and watch from a corner because we are too helpless to stop anything
from happening or changing.
