I suppose to finish up my chapter 2 writing but goddamnit I
can’t help but to write an entry about this. New theory: when the election is
near, then you will see this ‘change’ word everywhere especially on the social
network. Of course that word comes from fanatic freak of the opponent party.
Around 3 days ago, I had tweeted something like ‘how about improvement instead
of changing?’ Then most of people asked me back, “Why not try to change the
government after 56 years we stay under the same government?” TBH, I’m not
scared of experimenting new government. Or maybe we can have new leaders
especially from the new generation (of course not all). My point here is
I don’t trust opponent leaders now. Just look at the some states that they’re
running. Seriously, is it I’m too blind to see or others that keep saying the
word change is too dumb to realize? I did not say our government now is perfect
either. They need a lot of improvement too (will be highlighted in another
entry). In my point of view, it is better if the leader will be chosen based on
their capabilities instead of what party they’re represent for every state and
parliament. Okay now, how about instead of changing government, we change our
mentality first. When I speak about changing our people mentality, most of my
friends will say it is something that’s almost impossible to do. Oh well, I
have to agree about that. That’s the ugly truth that we always keep avoiding.
If nothing is impossible in this life, then why don’t we give a try? But first
question here is where shall we start?

to BR1M or not to BR1M? that's a question.
I’m not here to campaign for any parties. As
usual, I just write my point of view on my blog. If you
have something to say, you can comment below. So, here we go after BN manifesto out
yesterday night. First and foremost, of course, let’s talk about BR1M since a lot of people
point this thing out. My first question will be why they want to increase the value of BR1M? If this is about one of their objective 'memastikan pendapatan isi rumah rm5k' or because increasing of product price? When I started to learn about economics,
I found that BR1M is a brilliant idea
in replacement to cut taxes if the government plan to speed up the economy and also it gives beautiful statistic data to our GDP. In additional, it helps poor people as I can see that
for myself. But then with the increasing value of BR1M, it is
not helping people anymore. It makes people lazier and thinks that the government
will help them eventually (especially for Malay race itself). Sorry, I don’t
mean to be a racist bitch here especially on my own race but sadly that‘s the
truth. Let me put this in a simple situation…
Have you ever go to mamak stall or some restaurants around KL, penang, subang or city center where you can find a
lot of beggars come to you every 5 minutes? At first, you might feel
sorry for them but after they keep coming to you, you’ll not feel sorry anymore.
Yup, that’s pretty similar situation.
This thing mark a bad image of our country. I don’t say that
it is wrong if the government really want to help poor people. Just make sure
that they’re really needed and not using BR1M as a tool to buy citizen’s votes (which means everyone can applied without investigate their background as long as they earning rm3k or below). So, my conclusion here is BR1M is a good idea as long as it's given to people that really needed like OKU, eldest people and people that can't work anymore on certain condition. Just to share some informations that I found in this
blog ( here ). Don’t take his point about job since that
already include in manifesto. (http://news.abnxcess.com/2013/04/bn-manifesto-aim-to-create-3-3-million-jobs-and-rake-in-rm1-3tril-in-investments-in-next-five-years/)
Other than that, I
also found this one brilliant status posted by a friend of mine on FB. He
stated “Satu ada cara meyakinkan untuk jana kekayaan
negara, tapi cara pengagihan kekayaan kurang meyakinkan (banyak kasi
'gula-gula'). Satu lagi ada cara pengagihan kekayaan yang meyakinkan, tapi cara
menjana kekayaan pulak kurang meyakinkan (bersifat terlalu populist). Tiada
perantaraan, dan undi hanya satu. Masa untuk pemerintahan dua parti seperti di
kebanyakan negara demokrasi maju? Yang penting keuntungan berpihak pada rakyat”.
Which mean BN can attract young people and ‘pengundi atas pagar’ votes if they not
sounds too promising by giving too much and one of them is BR1M.
Nota kaki:
I still didn’t get it tho, people that keep saying we get
our money back. Yes, you pay your taxes. Everyone does. But BR1M is given to
people that earn rm3k below which mean that is only like a small percentage of
taxes that you pay. FYI, people that earn more paid more taxes and they didn’t
even entitled to apply for BR1M. Be more rational pls! (Unless you’re really
rich and pay more taxes, then have a seat.)

I’m with stupid
There was an incident happened to me
yesterday where I caught in the middle of the situation but the
good thing is it gave me an idea to write an entry. I was driving to buy
some groceries and then at my first traffic light,
there were a lot of people crossing the road. The traffic light for people to cross the road was green but then
when it turned to red, there were still some people crossing the road. I had
no choice but to wait until all of them finish crossing. The bad thing was the
driver behind me not as patient as me.
Well, to be honest I’m not that patient either (especially when it comes to drive) but I’m not that stupid to hit
these innocent people. So, I did what rational
people will do. I waited for them
even he started to push the horn to me. What the hell though. Of course I will
say that guy is stupid. Even if I drove pass the traffic light where people
crossing, there’s another traffic light in front us and for the time being, that damn
traffic light was red! I’m pretty sure he thought I’m stupid too because
I didn't drive while the traffic light was green.
So, the situation here is I think that guy is stupid based on my perspective and through my observation and that
guy may think the same too. As an audience you might think the same
as me because you read my perspective only.
Playing god is pointless. My point here is we need to do
enough research and observation before make any conclusion. Everyone knew that
our election is near and this is the time for us as citizen to open our eyes
wide open to see which is right and which is wrong. And of course this time
also you can see a lot of stupid comments from some people that want to show they
actually know about stuff. For me, sometimes it is best to stay out of topic or say nothing at all than say something that will make you look stupid. Yes, everyone has freedom of speech, but that's not a license for you to humiliate yourself or say something that might not even true.

RealLife.rar
My thoughts are quite random and fuzzy this few days.
Thus, I still can’t figure out what
to write on my blog. Habitually, I observed people online but since my data plan
was expired yesterday and I don’t think I will activate it soon, then these are
what I did for last 24 hours without internet connection on my Smartphone…
1) I actually read a book while waiting for my takeaway food (usually I just read Twitter timeline)
2) Struggling to level up 'Rock Band' and 'Guitar Hero'. I'm really bad at this! (Currently still at level easy. Noob!)
3) Try to finish up my writing and study. Oh well, after I write this entry maybe. :p
People said Smartphone without internet is useless. But sometimes all we need is to be away from the Internet. By that, we can feel real life and having a real conversation with family or friends. (I still can't believe I carry a book everywhere I go now. So not me!)

Hipster, I am.
While most of bloggers are busy typing an entry
about the biggest event that had happened in our country
yesterday, I’m here to write a review about Paramore’s new album.
Don’t worry. I will talk
about that sooner or later. If you’re not a big Paramore fan as I
am, you may skip this entry. If you do, you probably aware that they had
released their new self-titled album in 4 days in a
row. I just listened to the full album and I will say I love them all except 'Future' and 'Part II'. I still don't get it why Paramore did the sequel for 'Let the Flame Begins' and honestly it sucks! I mean their experiment on the new sound should be complemented but not a good thing to ruin your old song. Speaking of new sound, I really enjoy listening to 'Ain't It Fun'. I mean if you're not a Paramore fan and when you listen to this song, you will not believe that song actually from them. Totally new and sound nothing like the previous Paramore album and love it! Other songs like 'Grow Up' , 'Hate to See Your Heart Break' and 'Be Alone', I really adore their lyrics. Good job, guys! Last but not least, they also did something different by include short songs playing with acapella only (that's mean no drum and electric guitar). Songs like 'Moving On', 'Holiday' and 'I'm Not Angry Anymore' really cute and if you listened to these songs through vinyl player, it will bring you back to 1950s era. Oh, almost forget. They also had released 2 new songs that did not include in the new album. I just heard 'Escape Route' and I think it sounds like a little bit 'Ignorance' except it is not too loud.
Here is the official video of ‘Still into You’. So far, I can’t stop playing it repeatedly. Goth, I’m so in love with this! And Hayley looks so cute in this video! Does this make me a hipster since I’m writing about an album review instead of talking about politics? Lols.

New badge unlocked: Maturity.
How do we measure the maturity level of a person?
Is it by his/her age, thinking,
act or dress up? In this day and age, kid want to be an adult and an adult acts like
a kid. I really surprise sometimes when I see some kids in
the shopping mall with the dress, high heels and make up while I’m still wearing jeans, shirt and sneakers even
though I’m pretty sure I’m 8 to 12 years older than them. It made me think that
either I’m too scare to be old or is it
them that are too excited to look matured. Either way, I hope that they will not
ruin their face in another 30 years. In a different story, there is a
girl that used to be my student and I do follow her on Twitter. I don’t know why
but she always tweets about motivation and giving an advise like she already experience everything in life while she just got her spm results.
I didn’t say that’s wrong. I still remember when I was her age. The only thing that was
in my head is class 8am till 6pm. Shit. I didn’t even know what love is. I
don’t blame myself for taking too long to be matured.
Well, at least I had enjoy being young, immature, my stupidity,
and every mistakes that I had made. Even sometimes I kinda regret for what I had done in
my past, but learning from our life experience is still the best compared to learn it through a book or someone else’s
view. If being matured is a choice, then I can’t help but wonder
why on the hell those kids want to be matured earlier than their age? Why they don’t
want to enjoy their teenage years while they still can? What a waste! In my
side of view, it should be a threshold in life where up to some level, someone should be matured simultaneously with his/her age. Not too early or not
too late. But then, we can’t control it, or can we?

fool me once, fool me twice
How many times that I’ve been fooled on 1st of April?
Never. How many times that I’ve been fooled in my life? Incalculable. Frankly
speaking, I’m pretty much easier to be fooled by others. Friends, strangers,
guys. Guys. Hah. I’m still not sure if I’m too naïve or too stupid. Like
seriously. I still remembered last year that I almost being fooled by a guy
that I met online which turned out he’s one of the scam. If you ever read in a
paper, news like “Grandma lost RM10k for the internet love”. Sounds familiar,
right? Not surprisingly, most of the victims in this case are women. We, women
can really fall by men’s words sometimes no matter how strong or how
intelligent we are. Especially when we are alone and suddenly someone shows to us
how much he cares even its all not true. Yeah, I didn’t see that coming even it
was quite obvious. Anyway, I was still somehow lucky because the only things that
I had lost were my dignity and 4 months wasted time that I had spend for him. This
incident had made me become more cautious every time I want to know someone
online or real life. Also, not to trust people easily especially someone that I
just know. For the women out there, if you accidentally read this entry, please
be careful if you want to find your Mr. Right on the internet. Do not, I
repeat, do not give your money, credit card info, or any details of yourself
easily. We can’t tell if someone really mean what he/she said or that person
only want to make a fool of you.
